A little bit about me
I found a love for design in my high school yearbook class. Every step of the production process interested me, from the initial planning of its pages to the delivery and distribution of the finished books, and I wanted to learn more. So when I applied and got accepted to BYU-Idaho in 2015, there was no doubt that I would pursue a degree in graphic design.
I was introduced to BYU-Idaho Scroll, the campus newspaper, in my sophomore year. There I learned the ins and outs of journalism, photography, and print design.
In 2018, I accepted an internship with StyleHaul in Hollywood, California. For four months, I learned how a graphic designer fits in a global marketing and media company, creating things like presentation decks, social media assets, and print collateral. I learned a lot of valuable skills from that internship, and it helped me find my own artistic style in the process.
I graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. Since then, I've been working for Melaleuca, an online wellness shopping club, as a digital designer. My responsibilities include designing product detail pages, emails, and web windows, as well as creating and maintaining up-to-date product images on the website.
In 2021 I began doing freelance design work, working for clients such as Rexburg Pride, Flourish Point, Breathe Colorado, and the National Strawberry Pageant.
When I'm not designing stuff, I love going for long drives and exploring new places, hanging out with friends, and snuggling up to some Netflix with my basset hound, Walter.
